1. Half Day Visit: Summer Palace
The Summer Palace is a favorite among tourists sightseeing in Beijing.
Indeed, it is one of the best parks in the city. Originally it was
a retreat for emperors to escape the scorching summer heat of Beijing.
The Summer Palace is mainly composed of the huge Kunming Lake, the
Longevity Hill the Long Corridor and the Suzhou Street. |

2. Full Day Visit: Tian'anmen Square, Forbidden City, Jing-Shan
Park and Wang Fujin Shopping Center
Tian-anmen Square is at the center of Beijing. It is the biggest
square in the world with area of 44 hectare.
Jing-Shan Park was also known as Coal Hill, because they say the
emperor used to keep emergency coal stores inside the mound. Jing-Shan
offers a great view out over the Forbidden City complex.

3. Half Day Visit: Temple of Heaven and Liulichang Culture
Street:
The Temple of Heaven is one of Beijing's most famous images. It
is built in 1420. It is a heaven worship place for the emperors
in Ming and Qing Dynasty to pray for good harvest. Its silhouette
is an emblem of the city. The most famous buildings in it is: the
Hall for the Prayer for Good Harvests, the Round Altar, the Echo
Wall and the Imperial Vault of Heaven. |
