报告摘要:Image Processing and reconstruction are widely used in our modern daily life. From the enhance function of MeiYan apps in smart phones to medial diagnosis based on X-ray, CT or MRI images, image processing and reconstruction are almost everywhere. Mathematics tools such as linear algebra, optimization, statistics and variational partial differential equations play essential roles in these research topics. In this talk, we give a broad overview of some basic image processing and computer vision problems and then present our recent research results in image super resolution and image reconstruction.

 

This talk is based on joint works with my students Yue Zhang and Richard Lartey

 

 

报告人简介:Weihong Guo (郭卫红), 2007年于美国Florida大学获得应用数学博士学位和统计硕士学位。现在美国Case Western Reserve大学执教。郭卫红博士主要从事图像处理和分析方面的研究与应用 ,现担任国际期刊 Inverse problems and imaging的编委,曾担任International Journal of Biomedical Imaging的编委。已在SIAM J. Imaging sciences, Inverse problems and imaging, Journal of Imaging, Magnetic resonance imaging, Magnetic resonance in medicine,  Journal of Philosophical Transaction A等国际一流学术期刊上发表学术论文多篇,并为20多种国际学术期刊阅稿。
