北京师范大学数学科学学院京师数学课程教材研究中心联合国际一流数学教育研究力量,针对数学教育中的课程改革、课标教材、课堂教学、评价测量等关键领域开展合作与研究,目的在于打造国际化、高水平课程教材研究基地,探索国家基础教育数学课程与教学建设新思路、新理论,积极推动数学课程改革、课标修订与教材编写工作,改善和提升广大教师、教研人员教学研究水平,优化中小学数学教学质量。
本期京师数学课程教材研究中心学术报告特邀南非纳尔逊·曼德拉大学(Nelson Mandela University)Werner Olivier教授介绍南非中学数学教学融合信息技术创新人才培养方式的探索,为当前我国数学教育教学改革提供借鉴和启示。

An offline techno-blended model for 21st-century constructivist mathematics teaching and learning in South African secondary schools
二、报告摘要
In this presentation, the author describes and demonstrates a number of creative components of an offline Techno-Blended teaching and learning model (TBM) for mathematics. This model was developed by the Govan Mbeki Mathematics Development Centre at the Nelson Mandela University with the aim of addressing some of the key education challenges in under-resourced schools in South Africa. TBM integrates modern interactive digital materials with innovative technological features within Android applications to create constructivist 21st century offline learning environments that support self-directed learning. Successes with Tablet-assisted learner incubation programmes will be discussed with reference to qualitative and quantitative impacts of recent large scale pilot projects in South Africa. The introduction of a new mobile plug & play teaching device called GammaTutor to address some of the main teaching challenges in poor socio-economic school environments will be demonstrated. The use of the TBM model as part of an in-service professional learning network (PLN) programme for in-service teachers that focuses on Technology Pedagogy and Content Knowledge (TPACK) will also be presented. Finally, aspects of the TBM that focus on STEAM education awareness and creative problem-solving skills for 4IR will be discussed and demonstrated.
