课程摘要: In 2007 Burkhard Wilking introduced the transverse Jacobi equation, a generalization of the classical Jacobi equation with far reaching consequences. This new equation is useful to distinguish between different conjugate points, and is specially useful when combined with lower bounds on the Riemannian curvature. In this series of lectures, we will give an introduction to the transverse Jacobi equation and its applications in Riemannian Geometry.
