Heegaard Floer homology was introduced in 2000 by Peter Ozsvath and Zoltan Szabo. It has many applications in the low dimensional topology. In this talk, we will introduce the Heegaard Floer theory and its applications, and the relation between Heegaard Floer homology and the fundamental group.
主讲人简介
王家军，北京大学数学科学学院教授，博士毕业于加州大学伯克利分校，师从著名拓扑学家Robion Kirby，国家杰出青年基金获得者。研究方向为低维拓扑与规范场理论，在Heegaard Floer同调等课题上有开创性工作，工作发表在Annals of Mathematics，Duke Math J. 等国际顶级期刊。
