We will illustrate how to analyse the phase of the Fourier integral operator that modelizes a wave in between two consecutive reflections inside a strictly convex domain: generically, it involves cusp and swallowtail singularities, and a detailed analysis is required to translate that geometrical understanding into a quantitative estimate through degenerate stationary phase.
主讲人简介
Fabrice Planchon教授，索邦大学教授，博士毕业于Ecole Polytechnique，师从法国科学院院士Yves Meyer。近年来利用拟微分算子理论，研究了空间背景几何对波动方程解的整体适定性、解的色散估计和Strichartz估计做了系统的研究，获得深刻的结果，在国际顶级期刊Ann. Math.、JAMS发表数篇学术论文。
