报告摘要
In this talk, we will introduce various methods to study submanifolds in contact geometry. These methods are in quantitative flavor and mostly influenced by the counterparts developed in symplectic geometry. Concretely, the idea of Hofer geometry yields a pseudo-metric on the orbit space of a submanifold of a contact manifold. We claim a dichotomy conclusion on the non-degeneracy of this pseudo-metric. On the other hand, via symplectization, conclusions of C^0-symplectic geometry yields a novel C^0-rigidity of contact coisotropic submanifolds. Finally, we will discuss how generating function method can be used in our story. Part of this talk is based on joint work with Daniel Rosen.
