报告摘要
Chromatic homotopy theory provides a beautiful framework to study homotopy groups of spheres via different periodic pieces. The name blue shift phenomena is borrowed from physics for the change from a periodicity to a short one. In this talk, I will present Tate blue shift phenomena for real oriented cohomology theories, which generalizes Ando-Morava-Sadofsky’s result of Johnson–Wilson theories and Greenlees-May’s result of KR. If time allows, I will talk about our ongoing projects for the hyperreal case. This talk is based on a sequence of joint projects with Hood Chatham, Vitaly Lorman and James D. Quigley.
