报告摘要
The study of four-dimensional properties of knots is an important area in low-dimensional topology. A natural construction in this direction is the concordance group, induced by cobordisms of genus zero between knots. We will review this construction and a few related notions including slice knots, ribbon concordance and the 4-genus. Several tools, such as the signature function, Casson-Gordon invariants and Heegaard Floer homology, will be introduced along the way. We will also survey some recent progress in the field.
