报告摘要
Floer homology and Khovanov homology are both powerful invariants for knots and links. Floer homologies (Heegaard Floer, monopole Floer and instanton Floer) are defined using techniques from gauge theory while Khovanov homology is defined in a purely combinatorial way. Khovanov homology is related to different Floer homologies by spectral sequences. Even though both invariants are not complete invariants for knots and links, they do detect many specific knots and links. In this talk I will focus on their knot/link detection properties obtained by people in the past decade. This talk will involve joint work with John Baldwin, Steven Sivek, Boyu Zhang and Zhenkun Li.
