In this talk, we shall discuss the invariant sets generated by resonances under foliation preserving torus maps (FPTM). For the two dimensional FPTM, we study more closely the dynamics around the invariant circle. As an application, we show that the quasi-periodic solutions of a class of delay differential equations are not analytic under some nondegeneracy conditions. This is a joint work with Prof. Rafael de la Llave.
