Introduced by B. Feigin (1992), the Feigin homomorphism simplifies studying $U_+(\mathfrak{g})$ by embedding its quotient into a simpler algebra, enabling efficient investigation of possible quantum cluster structure. Berenstein and Rupel (Quantum Cluster Characters for Hall Algebras) generalized this approach via i-characters—extending the domain to Hall algebras and unifying broad classes of Feigin-type maps.
In this talk, we begin by introducing key examples of Feigin-type maps. We then establish a categorification of Berenstein–Rupel's i-characters within Lusztig's geometric framework.
