报告摘要
The Schur duality is a simple yet powerful way which relates the representations of the symmetric group and general linear Lie algebra, as well as combinatorics of symmetric functions. This admits a quantum deformation to a duality between a quantum group and Hecke algebra of type A. In this talk we will describe several simple and new diagrammatic (monoidal/quotient) categories, where various higher level Schur algebras emerge naturally. Our construction has new combinatorial implications on RSK correspondence, and it admits several ramifcations and generalizations. Joint work with Linliang Song (Tongji University).

王伟强,美国弗吉尼亚大学数学系Gordon Whyburn教授,美国数学会会士,国际上极具影响力的表示论研究专家。研究成果发表在Invent. Math., Duke Math. J.,Memories AMS, Compos. Math.,Math. Ann., Adv. Math,Comm. Math. Phys. 等著名数学期刊上。曾获2020年度美国数学会Chevalley奖,受邀在2022年ICM上作45分钟邀请报告。此外,王伟强教授还担任Int. Math. Res. Not., Lett. Math. Phys. 等多个国际重要数学期刊的编委。
