KLR algebras, also known as quiver Hecke algebras, are introduced by Khovanov, Lauda and Rouquier to categorify the upper triangular part $U_q(g)^+$ of quantum groups. Some representations of KLR algebras given by McNamara, called proper standard and standard modules, categorify the dual PBW and PBW bases of $U_q(g)^+$ in the cases of finite type and symmetric affine type. In this talk, we will introduce this categorification, mainly in affine cases, and show how these modules are related to the PBW bases constructed by Beck-Nakajima.
