In this talk, we shall report some progress made on boundary spike or layer solutions of chemotaxis models with physical boundary conditions: zero-flux and Dirichlet mixed boundary conditions based on some real experiments. We exploit a variety of questions such as the existence and stability of boundary spike/layer solution, as well as the convergence of boundary layers for small diffusion.
