Algebraic Morse Theory offers a powerful combinatorial framework for simplifying chain complexes and constructing smaller, homotopy equivalent complex. This talk will provide an overview of Algebraic Morse Theory and present its significant applications in computational homological algebra, specifically in enabling the explicit computation of the Anick resolution, Hochschild (co)homology and and its accompanying Tamarkin-Tsygan calculus.
