报告摘要
In this talk I will present some results regarding the analysis of the Transport-Stokes system. Such a system has been rigorously derived as a mean field limit of a microscopic model describing sedimentation of spherical inertia-less particles in a Stokes flow. After a breve introduction to the model I will present previous results obtained in collaboration with Franck Sueur regarding existence uniqueness and other properties of the solutions in three dimension. I will also present recent results regarding the (numerical) instability of the travelling wave solution corresponding to the spherical patch. This second part is based on a joint work with Matthieu Bonnivard.
