报告摘要
We consider the evolution of a dilute plasma described by the homogeneous Landau equation, focusing on the monotonicity of Fisher information. This functional, introduced into kinetic equations by McKean, has since been proven monotone along Landau and Boltzmann flows by Guillen-Silvestre and Imbert-Silvestre-Villani, through a refinement of the Bakry-Émery geometric criterion on the real projective space. We will outline the recent results and their extensions to related variants.
