In this talk, I will introduce the Cognitive Diagnosis Model (CDM) framework, which includes cognitively diagnostic assessments (CDAs) and the associated psychometric models known as cognitive diagnosis models (CDMs). I will demonstrate how this framework can support personalized learning by better addressing individual student needs. Additionally, I will highlight recent developments in this field, focusing on models that classify students into more than two levels (e.g., no mastery, basic mastery, and advanced mastery). Such classifications are particularly valuable for enhancing classroom instruction. To illustrate the CDM framework and its advancements, I will discuss its application to a proportional reasoning assessment specifically designed as a CDA from the outset.
主讲人简介
丘雪兰博士是澳大利亚天主教大学学习科学与教师教育研究所及教育与艺术学院的副教授。她在香港教育大学获得心理与教育测量博士学位,并曾在香港大学教育学院担任博士后研究员。丘博士的主要研究兴趣是通过现代研究方法和创新计算机技术改进教学、学习和评估。她在教育和心理学领域发表了超过30篇学术论文,研究成果刊登在《Psychometrika》、《British Journal of Mathematical and Statistical Psychology》、《Behavior Research Methods》、《Applied Psychological Measurement》、《Psychological Assessment》和《Educational Psychology》等顶级学术期刊上。丘博士现为美国教育研究协会(AERA)D分会杰出论文奖委员会主席及执行委员会成员。
