A standard contact 3-fold is the Euclidean space equipped with the one-form dz-ydx. There, a Legendrian knot is an embedding circle where the one form vanishes. Legendrian knots and their exact Lagrangian fillings are important geometric objects to study in low-dimensional contact and symplectic topology. The main tools to access these geometric objects are invariants that arise from algebra, which come from Floer theory or sheaf theory. We shall give a brief review of these invariants, and present some applications in constructing and obstructing exact Lagrangian fillings for Legendrian knots.

高鸿灏,美国密歇根州立大学数学系访问助理教授。2017年获美国西北大学博士学位,曾在法国傅立叶研究所任博士后。高鸿灏博士的研究领域是切触拓扑和辛拓扑。
