The KLR algebras and their cyclotomic quotients play some important roles in the categorification of quantum groups and their integrable highest weight modules. In this talk I shall first give an introduction to the theory of KLR algebras and then report our recent progress on the graded dimensions and the Center Conjecture for the cyclotomic KLR algebras. This talk is based on a joint work with Shi Lei (arXiv:2108.05508) and Lin Huang (arXiv:2204.11659).
