报告摘要
In this talk, I will discuss our study on a class of coupled PDEs with transparent boundary conditions that arises in a variety of cutting-edge applications including inverse boundary problems, spectral geometry of invisibility, and super-resolution imaging. I shall report several peculiar local and global pattern formations of these PDEs. Several novel applications will also be discussed.
主讲人简介
刘宏宇，2007年博士毕业于香港中文大学数学系，现为香港城市大学数学系讲座教授，曾任职于美国北卡罗来纳大学和华盛顿大学及英国雷丁大学，研究领域为应用数学和计算数学，包括反问题及成像、数学物理方程、散射理论和谱理论、数学材料科学、博论和生物数学。曾获国际反问题协会最高荣誉Calderón Prize,香港数学会青年学者奖，获聘教育部长江讲座教授，获选英国物理学会会士、数学及应用学会会士。担任中国仿真学会不确定系统分析及仿真专业委员会副主任、国际反问题协会执委会委员及秘书、香港数学会CouncilMember、香港工业与应用数学学会Board Member、香港研究资助局自然科学评议组PanelMember、及国际期刊Comm.Anal.Comput.创刊主编。
