报告摘要
The RNA velocity provides a new avenue to study the stemness and lineage of cells in the development in scRNA-seq data analysis. It is of prime importance to study the whole process of RNA velocity analysis from the mathematical point of view, which will help to understand the rationale and drawbacks of different proposals. In this talk, I will present a thorough mathematical study on the RNA velocity model from dynamics to downstream data analysis. The covered topics include the mathematical models, inference approach, continuum limit, identification of the common cell time, etc. The overall analysis aims at providing a mathematical basis for more advanced design and development of RNA velocity type methods in the future.
主讲人简介
李铁军,北京大学数学科学学院教授,国家自然科学基金委优秀青年及杰出青年基金获得者,入选教育部“新世纪优秀人才”支持计划。研究领域为随机模型及算法。曾任《Communications in Mathematical Sciences》、《计算数学》、《高等学校计算数学学报》编委。在化学反应随机动力学算法、稀有事件及能量景观分析;单细胞转录组数据分析;复杂网络的社区结构;复杂流体多尺度理论及数值分析方面做出了重要成果。在包括PNAS, Nature Comm, PRX, CMP, JCP, SIAM系列等学术期刊共发表论文六十余篇。
