报告摘要
Coniveau filtration was first defined by Grothendieck to understand the relationship between cohomology of algebraic varieties and algebraic cycles. There is another a priori different filtration, the strong coniveau filtration. For cohomology with rational coefficient, these two coincide with each other by the theory of weights. In recent years, there has been some new interests in understanding their relation for cohomology with integer coefficient, with applications in both geometric and arithmetic questions. I will survey some recent progress on this problem.
