Since the first successful experimental realization of Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC), a large number of theoretical and experimental interests in this field has been attracted in recent years. Both experimental and theoretical studies have found bright solitons, dark solitons, vortex solitons, and so on. In this talk, we will present some efficient numerical methods to find the band-gap structures and gap solitons in BEC loaded in optical lattice. The stability properties of the gap solitons are investigated by both the linear stability analysis and nonlinear dynamic evolution method. Some open questions related to this talk will be addressed.
主讲人简介
石玉仁,西北师范大学教授、博士生导师。在兰州大学获得理学博士学位,曾在清华大学、中科院物理所和北京师范大学作访问学者。主要从事非线性物理、超冷原子分子物理、等离子体物理等复杂系统中非线性波及其稳定性等方面的研究,在Phys. Rev. E、New Journal of Physics、Physics of Plasma 等刊物上发表研究论文100余篇。主持教育部科学技术研究重点项目1项、国家自然科学基金项目4项。研究成果曾获得甘肃省自然科学二等奖,甘肃省高校科技进步一等奖、二等奖,甘肃省科学技术进步二等奖等。
